About Wood n’ Wind: Flutist Karen Baumgartner and Bassist Jason Wells engage audiences through exciting repertoire and virtuosic performance. 

Program Description: In Class Notes Concerts for younger audiences, Wood n’ Winds will focus on instrument identification and musical opposites (high/low, fast/slow) and use the size of their respective instruments to explain the correlation between instrument size and pitch. For older students, Wood n’ Winds will adapt their program to include more detail about technique and ensemble skills.
