More About Class Notes

Learn how teachers use Class Notes to save time, inspire students, and get new ideas.

Class Notes has two main components: Class Notes Concerts are live, educational performances for K-12 schools across the state of Minnesota featuring a diverse roster of professional, Minnesota-based artists. Our concerts are free-of-charge, and the Class Notes team will work with schools to customize the experience. Participating schools receive supplementary, standards-based materials to enhance and extend the concert experience.

The Class Notes Lesson Library is an extensive, curated collection of free lesson plans and activities designed for music teachers but available for anyone to use. The Lesson Library offers teachers ready-made plans and helps them find new ways of teaching familiar concepts. It helps teachers save time and makes it easy for them to hand over the classroom to a substitute. Filled with high-quality audio and video, the Lesson Library is categorized and includes something for everyone.
